On January 30, 2018, we organised the first Mapathon for the project in the APHRC campus in Nairobi, Kenya. Project partners from the collaborating institutions as well as slum dwellers and local mappers mapped the Viwandani slum, with support from the Resilience Mapping Community at Warwick University. The results were very encouraging and the next Mapathon is already planned for March 2018.
